WESTERN Bulldogs champion Chris Grant will work alongside the coach he helped choose in his new job as football director at Whitten Oval.
Grant, who played 341 games for the Dogs, was elected to the club's board last night unopposed and will assume the role of football director.
Grant was a key player on the Bulldogs’ coach selection sub-committee that appointed Brendan McCartney as the replacement for sacked coach Rodney Eade.

“I think it’s a great opportunity with a new senior coach and a new direction with a great group of players, to get involved and get behind the club.
