I love that second last one. Harvey going off and Picken flat out ignoring him. Few players do the dead pan face as well as Picken.

What the hell is Harvey pointing at? Picken wore him like a glove. Was on the boundary and the grimace on Picken's face from the amount of running he did was plain to see.

The last two photos are side by side , Picken gave Harvey a quiet elbow in the solar plexus and Harvey had a go back and told Picken off , then complained to the umpire when he intervened and tried to explain his complaint , I got a phone call soon after from a mate on the sideline

I thought the umpires were terrible. Higgins had a leech on him all day. Every contest or even before the ball was there he was being held. I don't think he got a free at all.

I'd like to know how Goldstein disposed of the ball in the goal square as well. :confused:

Agreed. Holding off the ball was one of the things that umpires were instructed to scrutinize prior to the start of the season. They were all over it for two weeks and now it has gone back to the problem it always was.

can't remember what quarter, but Boyd was slung to the ground when he didn't have the ball (in our forward line), North took the ball end to end and kicked a goal.

I have said it before, the basics of the game are being ignored by umpires yet a tiggy touch wood infringement is picked out.
