Charlie Sutton:
Once, after a game in which the Dogs had played gallantly but lost, I saw him hurry to the race to meet the players as they came in. "There's plenty who want to know them after a win," he said. "Not too many want to speak to them when they lose".
( goes against the Terry Wallace philosophy of football )
"Humility in victory, courage in defeat".

Hehe, Dougie could pull an extra 20 metre run out of his arse though, so no wonder he couldn't add it all up.

Speaking of Doug, does "Namure" class as a great quote?

" Don't die with the music in you" Rocket Eade
I'm not sure if this can be attributed to Rocket, but he said it in a prelim IIRC

He might've said it, but it's certainly not a Rocket original.

Doesn't qualify then! Might be hard to get an original quote from Rocket, the king of cliche!:D

I've noticed the current coaches are still using "Pleasing", and I thought that was a Rocketism :)

The punches that land are the ones that hurt the most - Joe Rogan.
Ok, not a Bulldogs quote, but staggeringly stupid enough to rate a mention.
