I'm not sure that most posters on the boards will ever have an appreciation of just how much GVG puts into running this forum. If there's a technical problem, he's on the phone to the providers. If one of us can't start up one of the regular weekly threads, he's ready to jump in and get it up and running. He's in constant communication with the moderating team and for us new moderators he's always ready to answer questions and offer advice. As a moderator its great to have that support, as a poster its great to have the forum at all.

Like Bornadog he's a shining example of the passion that exists on the forum.

I'm fortunate enough to only have one board that's mine to look after and moderate. GVG has to look after the whole forum. If he didn't take on all of this responsibility I believe he'd be up around 15000 posts by now, possibly more.

Here's to the next 10,000.

Thanks for 10,000 quality posts GVGjr ... And as others have said in this thread, thank you for all your hard work on WOOF. For a lot of us WOOF is our sanity ... Our level head when we get one-eyed with family and friends. Without you, there is no WOOF. On this momentus occasion it feels fitting to 'dub' thee Mr. WOOF.

Thanks and congrats Gary. I don't remember life without WOOF, but I imagine that I got a lot more done at work and was a lot more deprived of Dogs news while traveling. Thank you for giving me a connection to Australia no matter where I am.
