We are lucky we didn't play GWS or GC in the last few weeks or we would have been beaten as well.

I still think we would have won. Port Adelaide are just a rabble at the moment.

I had that thought yesterday. If we had of played either away at this point, it certainly would have been too close for comfort.

We are averaging 60 point thumpings and can only kick two goals in a half of footy, I am certain they would beat us - right now.

Do you think they would beat us by a couple of goals or would it be tight if we played them right now.

I still think we would have won. Port Adelaide are just a rabble at the moment. That rabble is currently ahead of us on the ladder. I actually think Melbourne are half a chance to catch us as well - they'll beat GWS and might pinch the game against St Kilda (seeing as their season is now as good as shot).

When we lose to Gws next year, we'll do the same

In fairness we've been pretty good over the last 5 years, whereas since the07 GF port have been horrible.Melbourne have been hideous since 06. Heard Wallace say the other night that Stkilda are about two years until they're in a list position like we are.

Primus was a dead man walking and came across as someone out of his depth

Rocket to coach Port

I'd tip that too. He's playing a straight bat on 360, but as Robbo says, I think he's still got the hunger.

They should look at a more modern coach, Burns & Cameron(:() might be better options.

Eade would be a good coach for Port but would he really want to go to a club without a lot of resources.

Plus he would prbably be taking a pay cut(on what Collingwood pay him) as well.

Any chance we'd look at Primus for an assistant role?

Would he offer more or less than our current assistants?

Burns was close to the Adelaide job wasn't he? He would be my pick.

Poor guy.

I don't know. I remember when Port played us in the NAB and I thought they looked really competitive. Seems the coaching job is a bit of a poisoned chalice.

He is 'The List Manager', after all? The Port Adelaide list would certainly put his 'expertise' to the test...

I wonder if he's already written up his 5 year plan!
