Interesting article from the AFL website.
I haven't heard of the player but it seems the eagles have gone to publicly shaming this kid for his behaviour and poor fitness, i thought it was quite amuzing.

TROUBLED forward Murray Newman's future with West Coast is unclear after he was thrashed by coach John Worsfold in a 2km time trial on Monday morning.
The disastrous time-trial performance has added to his nightmare pre-season after being charged with grievous bodily harm following an alleged off-field incident that left a man requiring surgery.
The Eagles first to seventh-year players completed two 2km time trials on Monday morning and Newman finished last in both, recording times of 8:13 and 9:36.
The small forward was beaten to the line by Worsfold on both occasions and finished well behind impressive winners Chris Masten (6:05) and Bradd Dalziell (6:48).
West Coast confirmed Newman is not carrying an injury.
Newman played four games in 2012 after being snared with pick No.23 in the 2011 NAB AFL Draft.
The 19-year-old is due to face court on November 30 to answer charges arising from the incident in Perth nightclub district Northbridge.
In a statement after the incident, the Eagles said they were "bitterly disappointed that Murray put himself in that position and will await the outcome of the legal process before making any further comment".
The Eagles can delist any player before the November 29 final list lodgment.
Returning to training in top condition were midfielders Luke Shuey (6:15 and 7:01) and Scott Selwood (6:16 and 7:05), while young talls Scott Lycett and Simon Tunbridge were much improved.
Recruits Cale Morton, Sharrod Wellingham and Jamie Cripps all trained on Monday with Morton recording the best 2km time (6:36) of the new group.
