What do you guys think of this rock the heartland interactive fan map. This is the first of its kind in Australian sport.

In the clubs email I received this morning. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet.

It's pretty cool, the real value to the club will be in getting a rough idea where fans are.

Great idea. Kind of wish Collingwood would do one, then I might find out where some of my stolen stuff from over the years might be. ;)

Don't worry. They will begin spamming you very shortly.

Atherstone is a new housing estate I believe just a bit south of Melton.

They can spam until they are blue in the face. I'm not moving to Melton.

Are there any houses on that island? There are no roads from the mainland to that island.

I know Kylie Minogue used to own a property there.

There are no roads from Tassie to the mainland either but I'm pretty sure they've got a house or two there.;)

I had feeling it did. Are there actual proper roads on there?

Yes and if I remember correctly none that are sealed. Not a huge population probably about a couple of hundred or so. Been a long time since I went there. You catch a ferry from Stony Point to get there.

Looking at the rock the heartland map as the sample size increases it's good to see a spread of support around the city. Obviously will have a lot in the traditional heartland which is evident.

Gave this thing a go about 2 weeks ago, putting young Jakey Stringer as my number on my place. Can see a bit of value in this for the club.
Didn't even know there were prizes. I received a call from the WB this morning telling me I had won this competition and they were sending me out a signed football! Little unexpected things like this make me feel all the more a part of the club.
Been a good day!

I did it. It's a nice idea, but a bit flawed when you can "Rock" any number of guernseys - I did three, trying to land it on my exact address. Still, a bit of fun though. I chose Coons' #17, he was lagging behind a bit.
