Been excited about Stringer from the day we drafted him. Was doing cartwheels when we called his name out draft day & watching his game last week has me even more excited. Looking forward to watching Jakes career unfold. Wish them both all the best for the weekend but i think Stringer might miss out this week.

Hoping both get a run this week, certainly adds some excitement to the game.

Any WOOFers planning on making the trip to Adelaide for the game?

Of course! Taking my brother along too. Usually one of the few games I get to see live and very grateful to see 2 debutants. Hopefully one or both does similar to what Tutt did in 2011.

How's is the reception to us Victorians these days?
Went over in 91 and 93 and to put it mildly it wasn't friendly.

Certainly will add a level of interest to the game. Good luck to them both, they've already shown some great signs.

That's 22 years ago. It's much worse now.

Chardonnay drinkers haven't worked out yet there are more Victorians in their side now than South Aussies.

I've been to AAMI stadium, if they're the chardonnay drinkers they're drinking it out of a goon bag!

I went to our game last year at AAMI, it was absolutely fine. Mind you I kept pretty quiet, although there was another Bulldog supporter nearby that made plenty of noise when we got a goal (it is very noticeable when it is dead silent) and I never heard or saw anything unpleasant.

Most Crows fans are like MCC members compared to Port supporters.

Years of Vic Park and even Windy Hill hardened us up for the verbals.
When they resorted to throwing items at us was a tad over the top!

Nice Vid, but see him gas out, leaning on the point post after the last goal? or maybe it was a stitch / cramp.
Big risk playing him this weekend IMO.

Definitely stretching out a cramp.

Couldn't see him running out a full game.

Good luck to both boys. Really excited to see them play.

And it's a big ground that will test the running capacities of both boys.

It's wet in Adelaide. It's a risk we need not take, bringing these players in early.

Some strange selections.
I have no idea why Pearce wasn't an inclusion. He's had an extra season and shows more than Howard IMO. Austin is quicker and better at ground level than Markovic, on a wet day.
Grant showed enough last week to warrant consideration.

It'll be a scrappy affair, with plenty of opportunities for injuries. Why risk it?

There here to play football and I'm sure they would rather be in the AFL. The MC would have done their due diligence on weather they are ready or not and who's not to say that they wouldn't get injured playing in the VFL on grounds that are most likely not as manicured as the AFL ones.
Playing football at any level is a risk just ask Doug Hawkins when he was coaching Nathan Prince.
They have play sometime and even if it's just the one game it will give them the insight on what is expected at the higher level.
