Who else thought the crowd was pretty silent last night?
Nobody was saying peep around me last night.
Some good younger supporters around, good to see.
A home game too. Barely a whimper.
Also, I was going to get a membership for my Dad. But there were no tents close to Southern Cross station end. We really need a presence at that end, as that's where most of the commuters arrive.

Are you in the reserved seats on Level 1 GD?

Usually I sit behind the goals. But I sat on the third level last night with a bunch of clients who got tickets to the game. Right at the half way point of the ground. You could definitely hear the Kangaroos crowd, but not ours.

Yeah there were lots of empty seats in the Bulldogs reserved area where I am. The North cheer squad was loud and looked full where as ours had lots of gaps in it.

I get frustrated when we don't make enough noise in response to umpiring decisions. Every game it seems we'll have 5 minutes of shocking umpiring go against us and then one or two decisions go against the opposition and the noise they make dwarves ours.

Obviously not quiet enough.
The lead up to the news just mentioned the Majak Daw was racially abused yesterday.

May have been one of their own supporters.
Hope to god it is not one of ours.
Disgraceful whoever it is.

I hope not too. Racism is a terrible thing.

Very bad people. What will happen do you reckon to the supporters behind it.

Thought I saw a couple abusing Lindsay Thomas for being a diver, don't think I noticed anything racial, in the bulldogs level 1 area.

I've seen the rumour re: abuse to Daw on Facebook. From comments, it appears to have been three of "our" fans. If true, it's disgraceful and they should have memberships cancelled.
On the crowd, it was definitely a pro-Norf crowd. Winning once in almost a year will do that.

I really dislike 4.40pm games

That is very sad if one of our own has racially vilified someone. Harsh penalties for the culprit hopefully.

Don't like them either. 4:40pm on a Saturday is not too bad but 4:40pm Sunday isn't the best time.

Come out very hard against these people. The club tries so hard to encourage multiculturalism.

Me either. Fortunately I'm not working at the moment so it's not as bad, but generally not a fan.

What was it like on the trains coming in. I took the tram in and didn't see any Dogs fans.

I thought that the crowd did make some noise when we hit the front in the third quarter, but to be honest there wasn't too much to cheer about after that. It was one way traffic.

Didn't have that many that I saw.
