GWS played very well against the Dons and now against Cats for 3 quarters
Like the work of Cameron

When will GWS win their first game this season? I don't think we can take them for granted.

Hopefully not us. But they are going to get someone.
Isn't it a tad early on Cameron? They haven't won a game yet , and Sheedy's still the coach.
With that many concessions and draft picks Peter Rohde could be a decent coach there.

I think dry rot might be talking about the key forward Cameron - who can play.

Cameron is a gun. If anyone saw some of the goals he kicked on the weekend you would be in awe of him.

I think when we play them in Round 15 will beat them but in saying that we should not take them lightly and prepare well for the match. They have shown some positive signs at times in games.

If you look at the fixture, they really have a big chance next week.
Port Adelaide at Skoda with some pressure on the Power after 6 losses and GWS probably buoyed by the strong effort against Geelong.
Could see myself picking GWS for this.

Interesting question DR. Surely they will notch a win at some point and I tend to agree with BJ the fixture against Port is a great opportunity for them.
Cameron looks a beauty and will be a top 5 key forward in the next few years, getting pretty close to that mark already which is very impressive for such a young player, playing in a team where he is usually starved of good opportunity.
It's really intriguing because last year most people had GWS being a better side/faster improving than GC, but GC have really improved out of sight this year as their players mature. The fact their young players are maturing together and will really know each others games very well is a big positive.

Apologies then Dry.
What worries me is that GWS seem to be hanging in for longer periods.
If they get us I might give this joint a wide birth for a while.

They're getting there. They'd be a big chance against us.

I think their senior core is fractionally better thn GCS. Take Ablett out, Richitlli, Brennan and Bock have been out. GWS have Scully, Ward, Palmer etc.
When they click like GCS are this year, they will take some beating. Not 100% sure about their fortunes this year.

Not sure, but Melbourne beat them earlier this year.

Not sure why we are surprised with GWS performance this year.
It is mirroring Gold Coast.
Competitive fist season.
Second season they look to be going backwards.
GWS will improve out of sight next year just like GCS this year.

They're still a fair way off it, I can see them going winless.

Round 19 they meet again at Skoda Stadium.

If they play us like they played the Cats — win number 1.
If they play us like they played the Cats — win number 1.
If we play like we have over the last 2 games they won't.
Geelong didn't turn up mentally.
