Why are our footskills just so poor?

We've had a couple of incidences at an open guy in the forward fifty and the ball has just taken too long to get there. And we just continue to miss guys around the ground. It's so frustrating.

My biggest issue with him is that his ambition far exceeds his limitations. That ridiculous kick was a prime example. Only the absolute elite by foot would even dare attempt that sort of low percentage option.

Really impressed with Stringer. Strong as an ox, uses his body well, and not afraid to take them on. Hunter too has done some really good things, getting a good taste in his first game (could well have had three goals to his name)

The last draft looks better and better by the minute. Stringer is a dead set beauty.

I seriously cannot remember a player in RW&B with as much swagger as this boy. Just had a quiet wander up to Rance after kicking that last goal. It was as though he was saying "Thanks for that one"

We all up played about a quarter tonight (2nd half of both 1st & 2nd quarters)

Was hoping to play at least a half and get done by 6 goals, so a 9.6 loss is probably about right

Sitting at the ground cold and losing is not great. I thought this was one of our worst games we played this year. Our skill level would have to be one of the worst in the AFL. There were positives in our youngsters once again (Stringer etc.) but not really too much to be happy about last night.

Hrovat was quiet but in his limited possessions he was tracking with 100% DE. He will be good when he gets some games under his belt.
I was surprised with Macrae having 27 possessions but I did notice that he stood off the opposition instead of committing to the tackle.
Hunter had a good first game and could have easily had 3 goals to his name.

The future is looking bright we just need games into these kids.
