Obviously this issue needs to rise above politics as per previous closed thread, and accordingly I am putting myself forward with Twodogs as my deputy.

Deputy? Yep all care, no responsibility-that sounds just like me. I'm in.

Ernie Sigley.

I think he's had a go already.

He can have another dip K-Rudd style.

Clive Palmer- Get in early before he's PM. He'd make Jeff Kennet look rational :D

I reckon EJ Whitten jnr would be a great fit. Has done a wonderful job in fronting the EJ Whitten Foundation.

I think it is insulting to the incumbent number one ticket holder to so readily propose her replacement. She was Prime Minister of Australia a nano second ago and so some want her replaced as no 1 ticketholder of Western Bulldogs. If that's your idea of loyalty, dignity and respect then it cheapens the place.

I believe the current number one ticket holder should remain for the rest of the season ... Next season I would like to see someone like Mark Casey or Mark Seymour as our number one.

Julia Gillard should remain #1 ticket holder.

"Taking a stand against turnoverism."

As someone wrote, somewhere.

If Kevin Hillier gets the place can he come back and do the Thursday night buffet dinners at the club? They were great.

Our living legend John Schultz would be a most worthy No. 1 ticketholder.
"...John Schultz was considered a "gentle giant", known as much for his fairness as for his brilliance. An effective knock ruckman, he was acclaimed for good tackling, elegant marking and hard, fair bumping...Compared with others of his day, Schultz had exceptional stamina and he seemed to be able to run just as quickly at the end of a match as he had at its beginning...Schultz won the Brownlow Medal in 1960 (when only 21 years old)...He was Footscray's Best and Fairest Player five times (1960, 1962, 1964–66). Schultz played for Victoria 21 times, and was an All-Australian in 1961...Schultz played as an amateur (i.e., he received no payment). He played his entire VFL with the great Ted Whitten as his captain, and retired in 1968, aged only twenty-nine, to help manage the family grocery business. Fittingly for a man who was known for his fairness and never once reported, Schultz later served on the league tribunal. He once said, "I love nothing more than seeing someone shake another player's hand after a tough game - that's the ultimate in sportsmanship."" from Wikipedia. When he played for you, you had a lot on your side. Will Minson rivals him for sheer presence.

John Schultz would be an excellent choice. He rarely misses a game with his wife Elaine.
Schultz and the late Fred Flanagan who captained the Cats in their 1951/2 Premierships are the only two League players to have represented Victoria in their first year and remained in the State team for the next ten years. It was John Schultz who helped mastermind the excellent book, "The Bulldog Heritage". John Nicholls the former great in his book rated Schultz with Polly Farmer as his toughest opponent.

Heard an interview with Jacobsen. One of his cousins gas tony dodemaide, and another would have played for the western bulldogs apart from injuries. No idea who his cousin is
