Thoughts on who we might be looking at?

Not sure but as F'scary said it is a good thread to get us thinking.

Ayden Kennedy, Jack Paine, Luke Mitchell, Ben Brown, Mitch Thorp.

If you mean cheap options with potential.

Thorp a big chance if he comes to us.

Thorp if we can pick him up with our 3rd round.

I would say Thorp would be a half a chance.

No need to stop - I think he'd be good for us

Thorpe for me too, hoping we pick him up on the cheap.
Cant really comment on others until we see who we pick up.

Any thoughts on Mav Weller?

Any thoughts on Mav Weller?

Like him. With Pearce being an unknown long term i think he'd compliment that backup small defender/reserve midfielder role. Not as quick as JJ, but having him and JJ on either side of the pockets/flanks could be handy moving forward. He's a tenacious little bugger.

He's a DFA so i'd be more than pleased to give him a year or two. He'll definetely get rookied imo.

I have been thinking about this and I have a name to put forward for Macca:

ED BARLOW.

Have read that rebounding defender Sam Darley from GWS was seen down at the club.

Would we go for Thorpe if Crameri comes through?

Probably right

Why all the love for Thorpe... he was at the Hawks for two or three seasons and showed very little. What's changed to get people interested again?

A sensational year in the Tassie league, google his stats for more info.

Its been a boring trade season compared to last year. Hope we snag some players of interest.

Thats actually only about 10% of the interest. The talent has always been there but he has been an immature kid unwilling to ge the best out of himself. He became coach of his club too showing his maturity and started training properly.

I guess Sam Darley has the leading claim to the title now.

Look at this last night and thought his last six or so games this season may have been a bit of a break out for him.

Paine is on the table, but Brisbane are keen.

Jason McCartney was on SEN today. Mainly talked about Crameri deal but did talk a little about drafting. With regards to Thorp he said we "probably won't be going down that track" but expected someone to pick him up.

He also hinted we may do a small trade.

Sam Darley looks like the trade alluded to

At 186cm it falls into the medium trade category

Just - What about if he was 183cm? I guess it is still a medium trade.
