Only read I can put is they are stocking them up to trade out. I hope it's an indication Patton is pushing to come back to Vic which has done the rounds for awhile. If we can trade him in next year I would start to get very jiggly....

As for Fuller... dont know. His highlight film showed no contested posses, a lot of long bombs to nobody , a few fluffed disposals and a bunch of sideways kicks. Im thinking Howard again, but at least its not pick 15.

Fuller and Darley should allow us to move Johannisen into some midfield roles and I think this is a major upgrade to our running abilities and our kicking skills.
In the early part of the 2013 season we had a lot of problems getting the ball out of the back line because too many players (except for Murphy) had a lot of trouble getting the ball out of our 50mtr defensive arc. I suspect we won't have that issue now because I can see Fuller being a zone buster for us. Darley also uses the ball well.

Good point. Might also mean that players like Murphy and Goodes don't have to take it on themselves to be creative every time, but can instead pick and choose the best moments.

JJ's positioning will be interesting, good point GVG. I can see him playing on a wing, he's pretty evasive and he obviously has very good skills and pace. I wonder if we'll trial this as soon as next year, or if we'll just keep developing him as a HB for now.

I was thinking the exact same thing last night when I was looking at different areas of the ground and who could potentially play there. I think we've brought in some good depth in the last couple of years and hopefully this translates into blokes having a red hot crack to try and get a spot in the senior team. We also have a lot of players who love to win their own ball, which Macca obviously loves.

Is it wrong to wish that they have a stack of injuries next year so that their alarming lack of depth is severely tested?:D I really hope that their Tippett and Buddy selections come back to bite them.
