From the AFL Website:

Teams will be permitted to field squads of 26 players per game, with eight players on the interchange bench (two of them being substitutes). Coaches will be allowed to 'reset' their substitutes at half-time.

So 3 players to be cut from the squad of 29.

Most of the players that I would like to get a look at are in there, with the exception of Prudden and Bonts. If Greenwood can't even get a game in the NAB Challenge why is he still on the list? Hopefully he gets a run in the second match.

Whilst a number of players are out, the 22 you've bulldogsimmo, looks reasonable. I'm going to be interested to see how the key defenders in Talia, Fletcher and Redpath go - will be a good test for the younger guys without Roughead and Murphy down there.

You could just as easily posed the question....Does the absence of Jones suggest he isn't in McCartney's forwardline plans? Suggest you keep your powder dry until the next couple of NAB challenges.

With Cooney, Libba, Wally, Boyd, Stevens, Hrovat and Dahlhaus all in the team and capable of rotating through the middle I'm not sure there is a lack of depth there. Maybe I'm just 1eyed though:)
