Was just on 7 news, only caught the end of it, missed the players names but they are going to play VFL this week, will take time fir them to fully recover.
Simon Garlick did the interview, must have been pretty bad, investigation into the source says it was nothing to do with food provided by club.

Clay Smith and Christian Howard were the players. Yeah it was a scare for them that's for sure but thankfully they'll be alright.

Yep, that's what I was thinking too.
Until my boss called me 5 minutes ago and said she's got a bad case of "the gastro that's going around". Sadly so has the bloke running the training course and tragically the meeting I was supposed to attend tomorrow has been called off.

How terrible.
Tell her to wash her hands more frequently. Helps.

Why on earth would channel 7 bother reporting on this? I can't remember who the posters were, but Stash was one of the posters who said the players involved were and what the issue was. This was like on Sunday or Monday?

This all happened weeks ago, Smith and Howard are both named for Footscray this week which is good news.

Why would channel 7 be reporting old news when clearly this happened weeks ago.

I have it on pretty good authority Dahl's Baby Cow injury isn't anything to do with turning solids into fluids through the magic of food poisoning, and is legit.

The channel 7 reporter probably didn't log onto WOOF until yesterday. A bit of time to check his facts and it's in the morning paper.

he did say they lost 7 to 8 kg. That is a lot compared to their total body weight.

Need to fill up an hour long news service now. There is only so much time you can dedicate to pings allegedly heard from somewhere in the Indian Ocean.
