Welcome to the WOOF Player Awards for season 2014, Round 5, Western Bulldogs vs Carlton.

There are two awards that you can vote on once the game is completed.

Voting closes each Tuesday at 8.00pm.

The first award is for the Joe Marmo Medal for the best players on the ground.

There are 4 votes allocated and it's a 4 for the best and of course 3, 2 and 1.

The second award is for the Ron James Medal for the best 2 pups on the ground.

2 Votes allocated - 2 being for the best pup and 1 for the runner-up
Remember the cut off age for a pup is 22 as at the 1st of January, 2014.

Going to need to absorb this, this week. Not sure about the main group, as there are more negatives than positives at the moment.

Marmo:

4. One point for each goal - Stew, although should've been 5 or 6
3. Bontempelli - just for showing the work rate and hardness that we seemed to lack today
2. Dahl - without Hunter we were robbing each area of the ground to move him somewhere else
1. Stevens - if he had Bontempelli's poise under pressure, he'd be a gun. But no the less, did enough to get in my votes

1. Macrae - 30 disposals,and generally good, but great players kick goals when the team needs it and his miss in the 2nd really hurt.

2. Dalhaus - the kid makes defenders nervous. He always looks a chance of getting the ball.
