Deciding whether to call the Herald-Sun or not to do a front page interview suggests there was a fair amount of choice of whether to keep it private or not. Clearly she chose the public profile option. I'd hardly call her a celeb either, without numerous efforts at self-promotion no one would know who she was.

I wasn't aware she did that.

I thought it was through her new blog that she announced the split ... she ran with the self promotion after the HS called her.

Sounds more reasonable. I can imagine the Sun sniffing out controversy a mile off.

60 odd thousand instagram followers is a fair bit of celebrity. In her defence they actually did keep it private for the whole year too, apparently they kept it secret for 8 months and he has continued living there (only moving out in December). I believe the HS came sniffing when she announced it via her blog recently and I am guessing her management would have been very persuasive as the whole blogging thing is the path she has headed down.

She has management? What do they manage exactly?

I can only assume. If she doesn't she would have someone with experience in blogging/social media guiding her. I would say it's no coincidence that she had articles on her break up in about a zillion places the same week that she launched her blog.

Almost everyone in the media has a manager of some description.
I have friends who perform only once or twice per month who have a manager, ditto virtually any drama or acting grad (it's virtually impossible to go for a casting without an agent).

Social media can be big business and specialist agents can advise how to grow an online presence. The fact we're talking about it now and her name is in the media indicates the agent is already giving some decent advice. It ain't the 80s anymore!

I remember FDOTM ringing me to say he had a manager. We laughed and laughed and laughed at the pomposity of it all.
