I often walk past Tom Campbell when I'm getting fresh bread in the morning. The first time I was still half asleep and I'm thinking "who does he look like?"

They must start early because I walk in about 7.15 and it's only 2 minutes from the ground.

Thanks for sharing meshe. He's winning me over, this Tom Campbell guy!

To Peter: not all of us are so disparaging towards the coaches. I attended the last game with two Collingwood supporters and a Swans supporter, and they all left the ground with a great deal more respect for our team than they walked in with. As with the Fremantle game, we're a better team than results suggest. The next step is to achieve that synergy between effort and reward.

Two interesting articles
Sims supermarket brought back some childhood memories, as it was a ritual before every home game.
Couple of Mars Bars and Cans of cheap lolly water in a brown paper shopping bag .
Then off to beat the oldies in the queue to get into the ground .
Far cry from the warning of not to bring in "Packaged food" into the ground . What a joke that is!!

Sorry my Dads in hospital dying and I am having trouble concentrating on some things, believe it or not I even double checked how I spelt Tom's surname, it wasn't done out of disrespect.

My thoughts are with you and your family. That you find time to give to others is generous, especially when you could well be forgiven for not. Not many words can help, but if good thoughts for you and your family help then i'm sure most here are more interested in this than anything else.

Thank you, I have avoided coming back on here as it is a bit raw, but now all your kind words have meant so much, thank you.

Maybe the boys can win for me tonight.
