Will highlight each week our match and the title for these threads from this point on.

The hard ones for me to tip this week.

Firstly I always tip us

Adelaide and North Melbourne was hard to tip but went with Adelaide as they are at home

I also went with Port Adelaide over Sydney which is a tough one as well. Reasoning is that they are the fittest side in the competition so I can see them getting up.

Hawthorn getting the deal done .
Carlton were brave ( they accept losing these days)
Casboult was terrific, and looks like they've found a forward.
Pretty good game from Judd( ran out of gas)
Not sure what to make of Hawthorn, I know they're getting their senior players back, but just reckon it's difficult being out for long periods. History says teams can't win it with players having long periods out.
Time will tell.
Does anyone think Carlton are in Footy's version of No Mans land?

I only saw a couple of minutes of the third and all of the final quarter. Hawthorn still have the players to step up when needed.
Carlton must have been confident going into the last but when Hawthorn started upping the ante they couldn't go with them.

Buddy just kicked a goal every bit long as Blighty! One step, 70+ metres on the full. I'd kill to have some talent like that.

Saw the last of the GC Eagles.
Looks like making up 30 odd points GC ran out of petrol tickets.
Just saw the buddy kick ( blimey)

Dustin Martin done for a deliberate rushed behind. Having watched it the umpire had it 100% right.

That footage will be on next season's umpires video sent to clubs which gives examples of free kicks.

If this was another sport, you would be thinking match fixing by criminal elements with a deliberate act so clearly stupid and so clearly would result in a goal to the opponents.

Another heavy concussion to Jon Brown. He surely has to give it away now for the sake of his own health.

A couple of Brisbane players might have got a little ahead of themselves.
GWS just monstered them in clearances with Ward ( rub salt into the wound) and Mumford monstering Stephan Martin
Only 12,000 at the game also

Agree with that, I think a successful media career would beckon also

Richmond also had a very poor crowd at its game. Lowest home crowd for them at the G in a while.

The Dees just showed why the footy world is impressed with the work of Roos

I can't help but think Melbourne had a bit if a rub of the green, though. Essendon's captain/best player out injured, infraction notices etc. The Pies doubled their score last week and we got them today.

I just think the wind up Roos' arse and the heat down Macca's neck are both a bit disproportionate.
