I'd say "The same thing I told you a month ago!... Libba!"
Ps. My kid has 11 on his back. His next guernsey might have 4...

Stringer is the guy.
Do what I did with my oldest Pup when he was younger and feeling a bit disenchanted, get him to jump on the bandwagon of our next prize recruit and follow him.
Oh wait that was Griff, plan B anyone.

Libba. He's a gun, and when he sacks his first coach he'll become a Bulldog champion.

Tell him to put Peter Gordon on his back - bulldog thru and thru.........

Get him onto a player of absolutely no currency so his heart can't get broken by a walk out.
If you're getting him a 4 on his jumper then maybe slide a 3 or a 7 in next to it.

Libba won our B&F and was in the AA squad.
Also happens to be the first (and sadly, only) player to fly the flag for teammates everytime.

Bonti or Stringer or Macrae or Libba.
I agree, some fairly handy names in that group.
On output to date, I would say Libba is our best performed player with the brightest future, but any of the other 3 could take that mantle over the coming years.

Amidst all this despair I had a small blissful moment today with my 7 year old son.
I was just working out in the back yard doing some gardening and cleaning up.
He was kicking the footy around with his own commentary running. It could have been 1976.
He was Jake Stringer.
The fig tree was the goals.
He was banging them through from impossible angles after the siren. Or playing on, baulking the man on the mark etc etc.
Occasionally he passed the ball to an imaginary Dalhaus and then back to Jake.
It was quite beautiful. At one point he was Ryan Griffen.
WOW I thought, what's gonna happen here? (he knows what happened)
The commentary went like this. " ...and it's Ryan Griffens last game.... He get's the ball and kicks a loooong GOAL!!.....nice goal Ryan......." Then he was Jake Stringer again.
It was quite beautiful. The spring sun was shining. The bees were in the blossoms.
The smell of freshly mown lawns hung in the air.
The healing has begun woofers. The healing has begun.

Beginning of year, Libba. Just past Mid year Macrae. Later year Stringer. End of year Bonts. Today Boyd.
Bloody hell. If you'd said Bonts was our best player by season's end, and then only just shaded by a gun trading, I'd I've said we had a bad year. But future years are different. So Boyd.
Today for me it's J.Mc and Garlick.

Libba. And he'll confirm it in 2015 when he puts ex-#16 on his arse.
