Hope we smash these smug pricks next year, then steal WHE.

GREATER Western Sydney appears determined to maintain the rage against the Western Bulldogs, taking the animosity between the two clubs to a provocative new level on social media.

In a tweet to its 26,000 followers, the official GWS account posted a picture of former Bulldogs Leon Cameron, Ryan Griffen and Callan Ward, touting them as 'lost dogs' and using the hashtag #belessbulldog.

The club also posted the picture on the homepage of its official website.

Shove it GWS! I hope we beat them by 150 points next year!

I want their blood and ultimately to humiliate them and pick their carcass to the point the AFL pulls the pin on the whole operation.

The Gold Coast franchise is working a bit better but still it's crazy that pro rugby states who don't care for our AFL game have more than 1 team each now. We don't have 2 Victorian based NRL teams and there are no NRL teams in Pro AFL states like ours SA and WA.

In the immediate pain of the Ryan defection, I may have tweeted #belessbulldog… Does this mean it's all my fault? :o

Maybe the Bulldogs can promote the next clash against them like an Australia v Australia A cricket match.

It would be the Western Bulldogs v Greater Western Seconds.

I can see this becoing a similar arrangement to that shared by the New York Yankees and Kansas City Athletics in the 1950s and 1960s.

The A's (GWS) would draft all the most talented baseballers in the USA and develop them and then the Yankees (Bulldogs) would trade for them when they were ready to dominate at the Major League level. That way the Yankees could stay at the top and keep winning the World Series every other year, while the A's finished last every year to have access to the best players in the draft.

And any players that didn't like success, or playing in front of crowds (eg Griffen), were then traded back to Kansas City.

Maybe it is significant that they didn't put Addison in the pic.

Well then they would be in trouble for turning lost dogs into homeless dogs

They know they are a cr@p club. They are just trying to generate some spite & some relevance (interesting that we have been accused of being irrelevant). They want at least one rivalry as Sydney dont care about. This is what they have come up with.
Im happy to see them having a crack at us. It's refocused our supporters on what we need to do moving forward rather than looking back at the debacle that was the first part of draft week.

One of the best responses on Twitter was from someone 'quoting' Dave Matthews: " I said 'under no circumstances' was this tweet to be released!"

Very good!

We should realease a statement saying under no circumstances will we participate in this child like behaviour. Then 5 minutes later send one back.

I liked a tweet that said "you were a better musician than you are a club CEO... and your music was shit!"
