TAKE! MY! MONEY!!

Seriously, I don't really go in for footballers' books, but my few exceptions will have to include this title.

Won't be any this year according to a report I read. Apparently Murph is giving up his tv spot and his Age articles to concentrate on the captaincy this year.

Its a shame but I love and admire his devotion to the club and captaincy.

Agree. His appearances and writings were always positive publicity for the Club too.

Almost completely off topic but if anybody happened to watch Selling Houses Australia last week on Foxtel (Lifestyle Channel) Bob's sister Bridget featured. The episode was about a family with 5 kids living in a tiny house in Kongwak (near Inverloch in South Gippsland). There was no mention of her famous brother in the show but I know the family as they are originally from my home town. I did spot some Bulldogs scarves in the house at one stage.

Pity there is no uncle/nephew rule - Bridget and her husband Ben have 4 young boys and Ben himself is a handy country footballer. Great bloodlines!

I did watch that one and didn't know about the connection. Thankyou for the update. They looked like a nice family and very happy with all those kids.

You can talk author to author.

Might be time to change your avatar to the book cover ( if that works, as I haven't seen the cover)

Edit: here it is.

Done -- the puppy has got the flick.

A few years ago when there was some discussion of Bob writing a YA book for my publishers, they suggested I could be his mentor… Needless to say, I thought that was a VERY good idea.

I wan't able to head down to Bob's book signing on Sunday as I scored last minute world cup tickets, so I got my Mum and sister to go down and pickup a copy for me and they also took my daughter down to meet Bob.
