Going early, lid off, on the bandwagon, I must be crazy! No, just sucking as much excitment as I can out of the season so far.

You read it right WOOFERS this is the Grand Final Day WOOF social thread. Meet for breakfast at a place tba and then on the turps at a place tba. What better way to celebrate Grand Final Day than with a heap of fellow Bulldogs supporters. I'll be buggered if I'm going to celebrate this day with just my family, I want as many Footscray people around me as I can. I want all of them around me because that's the kind of club we are! What else would you want to do on Grand Final Day than be around fellow Bulldog supporters, better yet, fellow WOOFERS?

It might not be this year fellow WOOFERS, no, it might be next year and the year after but let's make a bacon and eggs over a coffee breakfast on our day and a post-game de-brief over a few bevvies near the 'G'. Breakfast Bevvies optional. Breakfast in Footscray?

The thread was driven by a Bulldogs Grand Final discussion on SEN this morning. It can happen folks, it can happen. Let's start to at least enjoy the possibility either this year or next and lets start living the dream!

Hell yeah. Have access to a ticket through my level of membership (I assume that hasn't changed?). May have to ask if any woofers feel like having a house trained middle age dogs supporter for s night or two on a couch

I assume Whitten Social Club members get a guaranteed tight to purchase a ticket still?

In other years when we have looked close they have tried to upsell people to this level of membership

Ok I have established that Social Club members are guaranteed a Grand Final ticket while all other forms of membership go into a ballot. GA, Silver and Gold all have equal chance of getting a ticket.

Cheers. For the "newer" social club members, assuming its the same as a few years back, MAKE SURE when you receive the expression of interest in buying a grand final ticket that you register. (used to cost $5 to register), otherwise you snooze you lose.

My view is that I've had so many frustrating moments in my football supporting life that I wrap my arms around the positives and if we don't make it this year we will soon enough with this group. It's onwards and upwards and the journey so far this season needs to be embraced. Bevo says that he won't acknowledge finals until it is mathematically impossible that we don't miss out. I live the dream of a Bulldogs Premiership and am of the opinion that we can make a Grand Final until it is proven we can't. As the weeks go by it is becoming apparent that going deep into this year's finals series is becoming increasingly possible.
