Five Bulldogs have been named in the preliminary squad of 46-players for the AFL Players’ Association’s 2015 #22Under22 team.

The Bulldogs contingent of five - Marcus Bontempelli, Jake Stringer, Jack Macrae, Mitch Wallis and Jason Johannisen – is the equal most number of players selected from one club in the squad.

Serious oversight by the selection panel.

Where is Luke Dahlhaus in that squad. What is the age cut off. Luke turned 23 only last week.

Edit

Just checked ages and it seems everyone in the squad is 22 or under at the end of the season, so Lukey is just outside the qualifying age. So basically misses by 6 weeks.

All of our blokes have good claims to being in the final 22 this year. Interestingly enough a few other sides who the media gush over for their 'young lists' aren't as prominent as we are...

Definitely bragging rights for us here with the equal highest, plus Libba who made it last year

Jesus look at that forward line.

I would trade our entire side bar Bont and Stringer to see us have that forward line, and lose games 210-190 for the next decade.

Anyone know how this was decided? Did Stringer get the most votes overall or something?

All the Melbourne fans upset that Viney is not in that team. A bigger butcher you won't see this side of the Vic Market. Amazed that Roos and the Demons coaching panel voted him 2nd B&F - then again that awful game plan of scrubby kicks out of the congestion without looking is right up Roosy's alley

Ironically Wallis will probably win our B&F but didn't make this team.

Wallis should never have been over looked for that team. My only thinking as that everyone presumes he's over 22 because he plays like such a mature leader. Is he over 22?

He's 22. He made the squad but not the team.
