I'm not sure why you'd bother. You could buy tickets on the phone or web at 9:01 without getting frostbite, not to mention the odds of it selling out are Zero


Besides in my experience usually the first person in the queue hasn't even looked at the seating setup, meaning you spend the first 10 minutes of the sale waiting as they go through the seating chart and query the different prices leaving you missing out on the tickets you want anyway.

Much better off hitting refresh every 10 seconds until tickets finally go on sale.

Does anyone know if you can specify which section you wants seats in (online), and/or which category should be selected? Suppose this depends on $ you want to spend. I wouldn't mind sitting not too far from WB cheersquad which I believe is Ponsford Stand end.

Yep! The lucky dip that is tickettek! They will only open certain bays up at once, and once they are full a new bay will be opened. It's quite frustrating.

Yep, that's what I can't stand about it. Why can't we choose the seat in a seating chart? If I ring up I'll get the same. Might just wait until the members sale is over.

Not sure it worked as intended though. I clicked N53 and N54 I think it was, and then it gave me seats in N4.

Said seats were still available in the N 53/54 sections at the time too. Ah well, I like the Olympic Stand and 51 is close to the wing.

Anyone else try to buy a family ticket? Took two of us an hour to work it out... Needed all our separate barcodes, different ticket types for each of us, session timed out three times... Isn't one barcode supposed to get you 8 tickets?? Very frustrating and completely counter-intuitive! Nearly gave up the whole idea.

How stressful, flamed out 3 times, couldn't get 7 cat1 seats in a row another time. Kept persisting and was eventually successful, however with a catch. I inadvertently hit 3 adults instead of 4:((( My non-member mate has to miss out. Took an hour to ring Ticketek only to be told I couldn't make a second transaction despite only using 2 guest passes. We ended up getting M15 Row V and cant wait. As for my mate.......he needs to buy his own membership. GOOO DOGS!!!!

About 150 people in front of me when I got there Easty. Took me about 50 mins to buy my tickets. Girl points out to you where all tickets are available and you choose. Wanted to get on the fence near Cheer Squad and got them. Might be the way to go instead of online I'd say.

I secured mine online quite well touch wood. I knew there was a ticketmaster at WO but didn't know there was a ticketek as well.

The advantage of lining up is you can discuss the seats you want to sit in.

Maybe but the biggest difference is that you can choose where you sit and discuss with the representative exactly which seats are available. You aren't relying on a computer.

Yes the difference is that your nearest outlet whether Ticketek or Ticketmaster may be selling for all games so it can be a lot busier...
