From a rookie to an integral part of our midfield, Liam sure has done very well, hardly missing a game since his debut in 2009.
Tough as nails and always giving 100% for the RWB. Well done Liam.

Great story. Passed up by the Pies. Works hard at Williamstown and gets a rookie contract after a supporters and sponsors have fund raising night at Whitten Oval to pay his salary. Congratulations Picko.

Thanks to Williamstown for paying his rookie salary to give him a spot. We got $50,000 and a 150 game player. We gave them Vez, Sherman etc. :D
Love him as a player, and love him even more as Boomer Harvey shutdown shitter. Great achievement.

Great effort.
I wonder what Collingwood supporters think when they see him running around for us.

God I love his attitude.
Wasn't he voted bravest player in the competition one year by a player survey?

With another 2 year contract, he is likely going to get into the 200 club. Great company.
That'd be Morris, Boyd and Picken as recent 200 game rookies. A great club the 200 Game Rookie club.

Has always been a solid contributor for our club but, by crikey, he has come on in leaps and bounds under Bevo's tutelage. Well done Picko.

Luv ya Liam !!
150 great games of hard at it, in and under stuff, and some super goals too. Hoping there is another 150 games left in the tank.
Well done Picko. One of my absolute favourites.
I knew Liam a bit at the time he was playing at Willy, and on the handful of occasions I've seen him since he became a bulldog - he has always been the same humble bloke.
So happy to see him carving out a terrific career. Hasn't played less than 20 matches in any season since his debut, and is so consistent and reliable with his effort no matter the circumstances.
Rocket deserves a lot of credit also for bringing him into the club.

3 cheers for the Willy crew for going in to bat for him so strongly. He's done them so proud.
Great story all round with plenty to come.

Didn't know that, what an amazing stat. I'd be pretty stoked with that sort of consistantcy and durability if I were Liam.

Liam is well hard! He is as hard as a cats head. If I were an opposition player seeing Liam Picken flying into a pack I'd be bracing myself for some pain.
I love the way he goes about it. He has even reinvented himself as an inside and outside ball winner this year, who knew?
Congrats on your 150th Pickers.

Well done to Picko, great effort. Been a consistent performer for a long time but has really taken his game to a new level this year where he's showcased ball winning ability and that he is a neat user.
Deserves a hard fought finals win.

Some fantastic shots of Liam.
Very lucky Collingwood didn't get him given his Dad's career.

A career highlight for me is him beautifully suiting up for the Bulldogs Hall of Fame dinner, but sporting a massive black shiner over one eye to compliment the look! On ya Picken, well done son. Hope you have a massive night on the field tonight.
Had a good game in his 150th. Was huge in the third and early fourth quarter when we needed to win some 50/50s.

Liam has been a magnificent player for us. He exemplifies commitment to the cause and this year raised his game to a higher level. Would be a worthy B&F winner. I thought his game last night was excellent. He really put in.
