I love this idea.

Such a smart move to link ourselves to a geographically connected regional centre.

Brands a huge area as Bulldog territory.

Aside from the direct sponsorship, should create a lot of opportunities.

What a great week. Our club is just smashing it at present.

Great news, and even better for the bottom line.

I honestly thought this one was dead. Great news for the club.

We could become one of the big clubs as sides like Essendon and Carlton sit on their haunches and live in the past.
It can take years of planning but we all know it can take off in a year if everything aligns.
It seems their is a lot of alignment happening at the moment in all aspects of the club.

With the new TV deal sure to pump money into all clubs, this Ballarat deal, better TV time slots next year and the sponsorship that brings, we'll be in pretty good nick if we can maintain or even pay down our debt level in the short term.

We really need to nail a Final win. We need to fight for the win tonight like there is no next week. Tonight is a huge night for the club. I hope EVERYBODY turns up and screams their lungs out and that the players leave nothing out on the field.

Tassie Poulation is around 520,000, not much bigger than Western Victoria. In fact Balarat is about the size of Launceston.

Great move, and 3 to 5 million to boot. Well done Peter G and the team.

This is a real positive move from the club. I love it. We are no longer going to sit there and watch the other clubs go past us. Peter Gordon seems really bullish about making the Bulldogs a powerhouse on and OFF the field. He has given the place a breath of fresh air. I feel for Simon Garlic but PG knew straight away that Garlic was out of his depth as CEO in taking the club in the direction that we need to head. That why he (and the board) sought after someone that could take us further up the corporate if you like, ladder. Someone that deals in a much bigger scale because that's where we need to be headed.

The club has been turned on it's head over the last 12 months through some obvious reasons, some planned and some not, but it actually made the path very clear on what had to be done. Although we needed the right people in place when the shite hit the fan and luckily enough we had PG at the helm. He said "not on my watch, not again," and he kept calm while the waves were pelting down against the doors. He insisted that this (shocktober) is not a crisis. Bloody hell, it felt like one to me. My hat goes off to Peter Gordon and his team for steering us through.

I love any interview that you see or hear from Peter Gordon and you can tell he is so chuffed about the Bulldogs. He often wears a little smirk which says how proud he is of what has and is transpiring down at the Whitten Oval.

October 1989 was a full blown crisis and PG got us through that. Last October was a walk in the park. PG could have resolved that with one arm tied behind his back ;)

But isn't that true?

This is huge! Massive dollars, and with the Vic government behind it getting low drawing games shifted from Etihad is very possible

There is something that bothers me about all of this, but I just can't quite put my finger on it.

Don't pick at it or it will never get any better.
