One from the annals. From way back. This game saw a young forward make his debut and kick six goals at full forward.

1. That forward is?
2. He made his debut where, when and against which team?
3. That debutant's final games and goal tally?

Apart from John Georgiades kicking 8 goals on debut for us against Carlton at Princes Park in the opening round of 1989, I immediately thought of Ben Sexton kicking a bag on debut (not sure of he kicked 5 or 6 goals) against the Brisbane Bears at the kennel in 1991.

Thought you might have also been talking about Ross Christensen but he kicked a bag in his 2nd game (against Hawthorn at the kennel in 1982). Was Bluey Hampshire's first win as coach after taking over from Royce Hart a couple of weeks earlier. We came from a mile back at 3/4 time to get up.

I immediately thought of Rod Coutts from Kaniva in about 1964.
He played on one of those 6 game permits and went back to the bush pretty quickly.
Unfortunately, I can't recall the other details.

You're a little closer time frame wise.

I got desperate and went to AFLtables.com.au. Couldn't find a Dogs player that's kicked 6 on Debut.

This game also was known for a debut of one of our most unluckiest players.

Kicked 4 goals on debut.

1.Round.
2. Year
3.Opponent.

Round 1 2012. West Coast.

Clay Smith kicks 4 goals then suffers a whole of body cramp.

I hope like hell he makes it back. He's too talented not to have a long and prosperous career.

This was a home game played at Optus Oval in the late 90s which ended in a draw. I need 3 things:

The Year;
The opponent;
The player who saved the game with a desperate piece of play on the opposing goal line.

That is funny.

Bit like the Richmond draw in the early 00's. The whole row in front of me left with 3 minutes to go.

Name a Game:

2000's onwards: We took on the pre-season premiers, and touched them up. Probably the best goal Bob Murphy has ever kicked.

It was a captain's goal. Brisbane were coming after we'd been in control all day when Bob picked the ball up on the wing sidestepped a couple of opponents took a bounce and arched his back clear of a few flailing Lion claws and ran to the 50 and slotted it to win us back all the momentum. He was never not going to kick that goal once he got the ball in his hands.

I think BT is talking about the boundary line checkside that he pulled out of his backside.
