I think Hayden Ballantyne has the crown. I know Jetta hasn't done anything really, but HB is embarrassing in big games. I can't think of a worse big game playe ever. Am I missing someone or is it him?

Can't disagree but Rhyce Shaw still the king for mine.

Yep Rhyce Shaw. Even has a medal named after him. Neon Leon another.

Neon is a good call. Dropped for the rematch wasn't he too?

Common thread is they are nearly all small forwards. Very hard for small forwards in losing teams in tough finals.
Been raiding the memory banks for a few more nominees; Zac Dawson, Raph Clarke, Cam Mooney, Des Headland, Beau MacDonald.

Cotchin, Deledio and Brandon Ellis are all batting 0 for 3 in finals. All have a decent body of work in the finals disappearing act.
For me this is a glass houses thread, I could name many a Doggies player who failed to perform when it came to the big time for us and most players mentioned have it over us and have played in the big one.

Cotchin very good nomination.

Bulldog players aren't exempt. Who would you nominate?

Why is Zac Dawson still allowed to play in an AFL team?

It's very rare that I feel embarrassed for a player, but I wince whenever the ball is in his hands. He must have incriminating information on Lyon, followed him to Freo.

Feel free to name them if they deserve the mentioned.

Rohan and Jeremy Cameron.
Geelong astounding, given they carried those spuds.

A lot of Hawthorn players year back were bog average players.

Jeremy Cameron is another who flops in Finals. Seems to kick a couple when the game is over. He was even gifted one today by Danger who felt sorry for him

The stats might support that, and I haven't checked but he's a heck of a player.

I'm done with Heeney being regarded as one of the best.
No where near it, routinely does not impact big games and especially finals.

I could post a diatribe about how awesome Heeney is without being awesome. He's been anointed since he played his first game, and he is good when he's good.
