Outstanding work by the footy club. Probably 4-5 years too short but a good start nevertheless. :)

This has made my day. We are setting the foundations for a very exciting future at the kennel. The cornerstone is set!

Wasn't feeling much interested in footy after my least two favourite teams are in the GF but this has cheered me up no end.

Great news, but I thought the club wasn't going to be able to re-sign it's young stars?
Bad news for Jack nail at the age, and Caroline Wilson

Well apparently he had the 2nd year blues this year and yet somehow rocketed to 13th in the overall player rankings. Therefore in that case hopefully he gets the 3rd year blues!

Finals? hmmm nup. Just tape it for me, I'll watch it later. Too busy watching Jake Stringer and Marco Bonto clips on youtube.

How good are the quotes?:

"My teammates, coaches and staff are just an extended part of my family and I feel very privileged to come into work everyday and help our club with them"
"I just couldn't be prouder to be a Western Bulldogs player and I know that will continue well into my career"

In Florence Italy at the moment. This is all over the local news. I'm dancing in front of the Duomo and everyone is looking at me strangely.

This makes me very, very happy. When Bobby retires, it will be a seamless transition to Bonti as my favourite player.

Great news. 2 years on top of the 2 years already remaining shows a great commitment from both parties. Hopefully we see something similar for Stringer shortly!

Excellent news... As with 'SP' a 10yr contract would have been nice, but at least another 4 is a good starting point.

Fantastic quotes. I like Stevenson's quotes too: "... the strength of our leaders, and the boldness of our youth..."

Surely Giotto is Bontempelli's cousin.

Without having any idea what sort of money the boys are getting during that time...having Bont, String and Macrae all signed up for extended contracts right now - you'd have to think we'd be getting outstanding value for money. Particularly given that the salary cap in 2017-2019 will be significantly higher than what it is now.

We may well have signed Bonti for the realms of $650-$700K in those '18,'19 years - when he will in reality be worth a million bucks or more.

Great news. Great to have Bont sign a new contract. Going to be a great player for our club.

This is the most mist impressive part - he already signed an extension in his first year, now he has signed a further extension- this is a huge win for all of us.

Kudos to Marcus and who is player manager is. Great to see them both putting faith in our club.

Yeah lucky he didnt get traded after that year.. That would be Tony Shaws knowledge of football.
