However I'd be asking First Dog on Moon to give a detailed play by play, goal after goal description in his wonderful cartoons, or perhaps the chap that does those fantastic lego displays ?ReLoad? to make up a stop motion lego play for me (would take him forever granted, perhaps instead Lego Movie 2 titled "Dogs Finally Have Their Day" totally funded by delirious dogs fans).

Would also still want to participate in march to the 'G with Peter Gordon and other supporters, as well as participate in never ending celebration as we walk ever so slowly and crookedly i.e. totally shozzled from the 'G to Whitten Oval with a friendly escort from Mounted Police and all the Woofer mascots. OUR DAY WILL COME !!

I've always said that if we ever win a flag ill be passed out in a gutter in Barkley street for a week, and the more i think about it, i think i may need 2 weeks :)

However here's what ill do:
Im willing to down my LEGO bricks and go to work in a real job for any and all woofers for the 2 weeks post the Grand final, no matter the job ill do it!

A) ill have indoctrinated thier co workers and rubbed it in thier faces more ways than they can imagine.
B) they can end up passed out somewhere safe in the knoweldge that there is at least one sane resonsible adult left on the planet and one day they will have a job to go back to.
C) Ill have the double satisfaction of not only not ending up dead in Barkley street with god knows what in my bloodstream, but also that someone else has enjoyed the ride more than i could without a care in the world.

I've always thought I'd end up in a MICA during a close grand final so maybe volunteering to "take one for the team" is not really much of a sacrifice.

On a serious note it's the build up, the sheer joy of knowing that we are in a GF, the excitement of getting tickets, watching replays of our epic PF win (let's face it none of us here I assume have ever know what THAT'S like, that I most look forward to. The actual game is likely to be an exquisite form of torture best savoured in retrospect.

Same theme but slightly different, that's why I wouldn't get considerably drunk after the win. One thing that Leigh Matthews is right about is savouring all the various things as they happen and have clear memories about the greatness of the aftermath. Admittedly he said that to his players, but I'd happily drink but I want to remember every single little thing. If our course in history is anything to go by, we may never see it again. Plenty of time to get shitfaced in jubilation a week later.

If an obnoxious football god or devil (aka Murphy's Lore) wanted to test me by offering a premiership from which I was eternally banned and destined never to witness, it would scourge my heart, fatally wound it but it would die knowing that the Bulldog community, Footscray and the Whitten oval would become the centre of the football world as a great team and club.
Seeing as I was going over to the dark side I'd also see what other deals they had going. What I wouldn't give for...
