Cheers guys... It's a shame that people let their perceptions of flamboyant/skillful players like Jake get clouded by third parties such as the media of whom, as is their nature to, get carried away with the more exciting players who play the game. Alot of the outward perception of Stringer is that he's overrated, but it's almost impossible to not be rated to death when you're a gun, and that's hard to take for alot of oppo supporters, especially when looking at a younger player who still has at least a decades worth of time to wreak havoc on their respective clubs :p

Am looking forward to seeing alot more of Jake in the future.

Stringer has the best Bulldog "Don't Argue" since Mark Kellett was rampaging out of the backline in the 80s. I just love the way Jake takes 'em on, shrugs them off like a dog after a swim and then bursts away leaving a trail of flailing opponents snatching in vain at his slipstream.
His 'Don't Argue' is an offensive weapon of menace. I fancy if Stringer set his mind to it he could stand between the rails on the Melbourne to Bendigo line, stick out his right arm and stop himself a freight train. He's a major talent.

Brilliant! Every now and then when confronted by multiple tacklers he picks one out and runs directly at them. Intimidating.

COME!! GET!! SOME!!

Every time he gets the ball you get excited. Yeah he doesn't always pull it off, but when he does, wow. He's a blend of so many great players we've seen, whether he's as good as so-and-so isn't as important as the fact he manages to put together a "package" (excuse the pun guys) made up of the best attributes of each of the players he's compared to. To me, he's a blend of Ben Cousins, Ablett Snr, and Dancing Dougie Hawkins.

Stating the obvious but if Jake can start to use his strength to mark the ball, he will be unstoppable. Opposition teams have figured out where his goals come from and are just playing shorter guys on him. There's no reason why he can't improve this aspect of his game with coaching and a lot of practice.
