After the result tonight what do we think will be the most likely outcome of who and where we play in Week 1 of the finals.

Would take a minor miracle for us not to be playing West Coast in Perth.

Yes but more specific about playing the Eagles over here or in Perth in Week 1. I thought I'd start one that covers all the possible scenarios.

Scenario 1: GWS beat North, Hawthorn beat Collingwood

Regardless of winning or losing against Freo, we finish 7th, West Coast finish 6th, we play them in Perth.

Scenario 2: North beat GWS, Hawthorn beat Collingwood, Dogs beat Freo

We finish 6th and play GWS in Melbourne (probably at Etihad).

Scenario 3: GWS beat North, Collingwood beat Hawthorn, Dogs beat Freo, cumulative margin in our game and Hawthorn game 60+ (ie. they lose by 30+, we win by 30+ or they lose by 15+, we win by 45+ etc.)

We finish 6th, Hawthorn finish 7th, we play them at the MCG.

Scenario 4: GWS beat North, Collingwood beat Hawthorn, Dogs beat Freo, cumulative margin in our game and Hawthorn game less than 60

We finish 7th, Hawthorn finish 6th, we play them at the MCG.

Scenario 5: North beat GWS, Collingwood beat Hawthorn, Dogs beat Freo, cumulative margin in our game and Hawthorn game 60+

We finish 5th and play North Melbourne week 1, possibly at Etihad.

Scenario 6: North beat GWS, Collingwood beat Hawthorn, Dogs beat Freo, cumulative margin in our game and Hawthorn game less than 60

We finish 6th and play GWS in Melbourne, probably at Etihad.

Can we in interstate? I say of course we can but things really have to go right and we would need to be on right from the start. Beat the Swans interstate and Port when they were really in some form.

Scenario 2 sounds ok. At least if that happens we do not have to travel.

Massive game for Hawks as they can finish either 3rd or 6th or even 7th depending on us.
