Whitten Oval Live site for game

Join the extended Western Bulldogs Family at Victoria University Whitten Oval this Saturday afternoon to watch as one, as the team plays off for the 2016 AFL Premiership Cup.

Two big screens will be on-site to watch the game with the red, white and blue faithful, with gates to open at 1:00pm ahead of a 2:30pm first bounce.

OK, as an interstate visitor, I have 2 questions

Can someone please give me directions to a link so I can work out how to get to Whitten Oval via Public Transport?

OR how much would a taxi cost to from WO?

And secondly, if my son cant get a ticket, (we are staying in the CDB) is there a good spot to watch it, such as Fed Square?

Thanks

Very simple to get to WO.

Catch a Watergardens or Sunbury train any city station and get off at West Footscray station. Takes 15 minutes and will drop you off at the gate.

Where are you staying in Melbourne

Fed Square. There will be a fair few of us by the sounds of things. Although I read it may take up to an hour to get through all security, so if want to see the 1.10pm early warm up we've got to go by 12.10 or miss it potentially.
