I want Bob, a club captain in a premiership year.
I want Wood, a playing captain of a premiership.
I want Bonts, a player who elevates with responsibility.
Can we just go with co-captains?

Bob. In all reality, it's quite possible that Bob comes back next year and the year after it's Bont. Wood is captain for only 1 year and it's a premiership.
Think we will revert to Bob captain, Wood vice captain...and once Bob retires - they shuffle up a spot with bont vice captain for a little bit.
Plenty of time for Bonti to lead the team....even in 4 years time - he'll still be only 25.
Let me concentrate on becoming the leagues best player.

Nah just Bob next year. Wood to stay VC and Bont to take over in 2018.

Wood should and deserves to be captain outright once Murphy gives it away. Bont can wait and be an understudy. He can learn leadership from a premiership captain. Then if he is ready for captaincy and he is the best candidate give it to him, that would be the sensible thing to do.

One captain. Nothing gets done via committee.
Just Bob next season. Easton to take over after that and then the Bont after he's finished.
How lucky are we.

Single captain for me. Counter to popular opinion but I'd give it to Easton.
Murphy is the heart and soul of the place and will always be the spiritual leader while he's around but he's 34 and coming back from an ACL. I'd like all his energies to be put towards playing

I agree with you lemmon. Was a bit hesitant to actually to write it.
Easton Wood is an amazing person, captain and player.
Let him keep it for another 3-4 years and then hand over to Bontempelli.

Wood was pretty public and firm that he would be handing the job back to Murphy when he returned. Though I suppose that Wood probably wasn't expecting to be the reigning premiership captain when Murph came back.

Not sure why, from round one it was never in doubt.;)
