Key Off-Season Membership Dates


Friday November 11 - Get your pack in time for Christmas
Renew or sign up as a member by this date to guarantee you will receive your membership pack in time for Christmas.


Friday December 9 - Reserved Seat and EJ Whitten Social Club cut-off date
Members with a reserved seat and/or EJ Whitten Social Club package in 2016, have until 5pm to renew and secure the same package again in 2017. After this time, seats will be released and offered to those members currently on waitlists.


Monday December 12 - The EJ Whitten Social Club Christmas Party
Members with the EJ Whitten Social Club package in 2016 are invited to attend this wonderful event to celebrate the season that was and look forward to what’s next. The 2017 playing group and senior coaches will be in attendance which will make the night a very special one. Invitations will be issues in November and will require members to register as we do expect this event to reach capacity very quickly. Keep an eye out for your invitation which will be sent via email.


Friday December 23 - Monday January 9 - Membership Services Holiday Closure
The Western Bulldogs Membership Service department will be closed during this time. The membership team will respond to email and voicemail inquiries when the office re-opens on January 9. Please ensure you contact the team on 1300 46 36 47 before this time is you have any urgent inquires.

Friday October 7 - NAB AFL restricted free agency offer and unrestricted free agency period begins

Monday October 10, 10am - NAB AFL Trade Period begins

Sunday October 16, 5pm - Close of NAB AFL restricted free agency offer and unrestricted free agency period

Wednesday October 19 - NAB AFL restricted free agency matching offer three-day period ends

Thursday October 20, 2pm – NAB AFL Trade Period closes

Friday November 25 - NAB AFL Pre Season & Rookie Drafts

Monday November 28 - First to Fourth Year Players Return For Preseason

Monday November 28, 4pm - NAB AFL Pre Season & Rookie Drafts

Monday December 5 - Five Year + Players Return For Preseason

Wednesday November 30, 2pm - Final AFL club list lodgement
