All,
Just to inform you all that we are experiencing some technical issues with the site and it may have to be shut down for a day or so until I can get sorted out.
The issue is a bit beyond my technical skill level and I'm finding it difficult to get it sorted out.
For those of you with twitter accounts, look at OfficalWOOF for updates if you can't access the forum

Further to my post, the site might be down for a day or two but the issue that was proving very challenging has now been resolved.
The hosting company were a terrific assistance.
It could go down on Tuesday or Wednesday but it should be OK by Thursday.

I could sense the panic are setting in ... and a lot of woofers are screaming on the street.... "woof forum is down ... what do I do? What do I do ... ? "

Worse case scenario is the site is down for 2 days, given it's been quiet this time of the year it's probably not too much of an inconvenience.

I could sense some people may have site issues so if you are unable to read all of the above, let me know and I'll refer you to a well respected optometrist.

Thanks Gary. I maintain systems and understand downtime is a must.

I probably could have used your expertise last week and this could have been avoided :)

Thanks for the trust but I would be out of my deepth as I kind of maintain backend systems rather than Web services

At the moment it looks like the site will be off line from tomorrow. I'm not sure if that means from midnight or by midnight on the 6th.
With a bit of luck it will all be sorted out quickly enough

All, There appears to be some access issues with some of the coding. I'll contact the technical team in the morning and see if we can get it fixed
Regards
Gary

Ok, we have a short term fix. Things should be back to normal for a while now
