Had this on mute tonight in the bar where I work, with some music going. The whole post-premiership period is endessly satisfying, still surreal to see us highlighted in a national programme with millions watching, the little highlights/photo montage package they put on bought a lump to the throat.

Basically came across as feeling very privileged to be part of a premiership team. Praised the supporters for stsying staunch, said they'd all had a good rest and come back in good shape for pre-season. Said they were aiming to get better at their game - weren't taking repeat but wanted to 'go one better'. Maybe that means winning from 6th place!
Said he allowed himself to believe we'd won after Liam Picken kicked 'a goal from the goal square'.
You got a sense of just how committed he is to the cause. He really is "Bulldog Through and Through'. Talked about how good it will be to get all our injured players back and how our win has made a lot of people happy.

Doug Hawkins said Chris Grant was a Rolls Royce Footballer person (see what I did there). Well Grant definitely is a Rolls Royce, no arguments there, but he's the Classic 97 model, a fine model indeed. Marcus Bontempelli is the new 2016 model with sat nav, reverse sensors and the like!!
