The other side of small things... A few players took marks 45-50 metres out and turned their backs on play, denying any opportunity to pass to a teammate. Is that confidence that they want the responsibility to take the kick, or poor team play to deny any better opportunity to goal?

No matter how confident you are if you are 50+ metres out it doesn't hurt to turn around and have a quick look to make sure no one is in the goalsquare all by themselves and waving their arms around.
