1. I want Jake Lever - But I don't want to part with our SA boys from today if they're requested: Daniel, Williams & Young.
2. Running Tom Boyd into the ground, then Bonts into the ground rucking isn't how you treat Ferraris.
3. Lewis Young is a taller Easton Wood if today is anything to go by. I wonder if he can play forward?

1. I am confused by umpire's interpretation of HTB and many other decisions - AFL stop *!*!*!*!ing around with the rules
2. MCG needs to hand out free blankets
3. An injection of young players like Williams, Dale, Young, really boosts the team.

1 . The holding the ball interpretaion is just a dogs breakfast .Insufficent intent has also gone the way of the dodo bird
2. The recruiting from Simon Darymple has been superb
3. My god it was frigging freezing there today

Appropriate they were wearing orange sox . Great cause from them, little bit of irony though with Elliott's " we paid the shiela's off"from a few years ago
always right

The HTB free kick against Picken in the second quarter was simply a disgrace. The umpiring improved as the game progressed but umpire 19 was atrocious as he was the umpire paying the ridiculous ones.

1. The size of the MCG suits our handball game that extra metre enables our players to unlock some space around the contest and spread. Would of love to see Boyd/Cloke in for Honey and add Stringer and our forward line would have looked more dangerous.
2. Dale and Mclean continue to be beacons in what has been an average year so far.
3. A player that can intercept mark is worth there weight in gold. There was a fair bit of Craig Ellis in that performance today well done Young!

1. A win is a win, but gee it would've been nice to say we'd come away with a resounding mojo boosting win. Not quite, just baby steps.
2. Lewis Young...Jake Lever...who's he and why do we need him again?? But seriously..a great composed debut. Really looked like he is ready for this level.
3. Umpires favourites...??? What a joke. We've copped some real shockers over the last few weeks. I really hope its got nothing to do with some teams bleating to the Umps.

1. The injection of Young and Williams was long overdue.
2. Our indifferent forward line remains a problem.
3. Hard to believe we do not request more games at the "G" rather than the Ballarat experiment.

1, Lewis Young is the best pick of the 2016 draft
2. Lewis Young is our best pick of the 2016 draft
3. Sorry what?

1. A good debut from a young fella can really turn around a sad footy mood. Lewis lifted my spirits today and added some joy to the game from a fan's perspective.
2. Marks are incredibly important. Young and Roughie took plenty today and it made a difference.
3. Our forward line is really battling for cohesiveness & continuity. It really struck me today just how far it is from where I thought it could be this season personnel wise.

Winning feels much, much, much better than that losing rubbish.
Lewis Young can play.
Watching footy in 25 degrees is much better than watching in the Melbourne winter.

Especially intercept marks. You can rebound pretty quickly from them.

2/ I'm a dickhead... So a Carlton supporter says.
3/ Umpires aren't very good at their job.. especially no.19

The interpretation of holding the ball was different depending on if it was us or carlton. It was absolutely ridiculous. Since the north game we have been umpired differently. Media/coaching pressure has gotten to the umpires unfortunately.

1. Over many years watching AFL I thought that I had come to peace with the state of umpiring. I haven't.
2. Our list mangement of ruckmen is sub standard. I never want to see Marcus, Dunks, Lin etc being sacrificed the way they are.
3. Caleb is close to an untouchable.

One extra thing I learnt was that upsetting Bont is fraught with extreme danger .
