Didn't James Cook have a standout season in 97 or 98? I'm not sure quite how much of a standout it was though...I'm probably a loooooong way off.
EDIT: just checked and was tempted to delete this. He kicked 36 in 97, including 17 in the final three games.

Yep. Cookie could kick lots of goals in hames but never played that many games.
I worked with a Carlton supporter that was so upset about Carlton clearing Cook to us that he cut his membership up with scissors and sent it to their membership department! He showed me the letter and the cut up membership card before he sent it!

Beasley kicked 105 goals in 1985.
KT I think kicked 118 goals in 1980 and 91 goals in 1979.
Also I think Jack Collins topped the goal kicking with 84 goals in 1954. Don't think we have anyone else who has topped the goalkicking.

The debut game would have to be Georgiades who kicked 8 on debut in R1 1989. With the other goalkicking leader, Templeton followed up his ton with 90 odd the following year (1979).

Yeah Sedat inverted the Templeton one and had him kicking 91 the year before his ton but I knew what he meant. Your answers of KT and JG are both incorrect.

I am from the 2000's era to now.
I am a high end/first round/top 20 draft pick.
I spent two or more years on the list.
I didn't live up to the expectations.
Ergo, I'm no longer on our list.
Can I just say no to about 10 answers until I'm boxed in? Yes. But you'll have to trust me that I won't.

BT, I think this might be a tricky one, Patrick Veszpremi?
Tricky, yep. I've given myself some latitude. Not Paddy. My comment to him would've been a huge disappointment almost tied with a certain player we got in from Brisbane around the same time that we used a top 20 pick on. So disappointing Everitt (pick 10) netted us virtually nothing directly or through Paddy in the trade.

McConville has had an interesting history. As a player he played a lot of reserves footy at Fitzroy before coming to Footscray and playing a bit of senior footy (in a bad, bad team, admittedly we were crap) under Royce Hart and Bluey Hampshire in 81/82. Dunno where he went from there but he next turns up at Fitzroy as the caretaker coach in 1995 when Mick Nunan walked out then he stands aside for Bernie Quinlan who walks out before the season was out and again McConville takes over as senior and was the last man to coach Fitzroy in a AFL match.
He's at the plastics now. He was an assistant under Cameron but now he's skills and coach of their AFLW team.
