2. Crameri is left dangling in the trade period and then cut. Club leading goal kicker.
3. Honeychurch is left dangling in the trade period. Only gets a one year spot after....
4. Cloke, preparing for preseason training with his one year remaining on his contract, then is mutually retired (sacked/paid out)
5. Happy for Campbell to look proactively for a trade out.
6. After strong indications and reporting, Roarke is looking at the rookie list and not elevation.
7. Tweedie was always a long term prospect, but after a year he's also shown the door, seemingly early.
8. Bob, Boyd, Hamilton & Prudden fairly obvious.

Ruthless is good. Any threat of coziness and reflection creeping in has been dealt with.

I'd go with bold. It's a privilege to be at the club, not a right. Standards are expected and we're trying to build and maintain a culture.

The 8 points in the OP are clearly pointing towards harsh, ruthless or clinical, but to me the players we brought in are as big a part of our list management as the ones going. All 3 address our needs and cost us little. For that I would call our list management astute

That's not a haiku. I'd love it to be a haiku but a haiku is 5/7/5 on but the first line has 6, the second line has 4.
