I don't mind carrying the underdog tag but it's curious that many of our guys haven't been rated.

Who has missed out? Macrae? JJ (prob not based on last year).
Bont should feature in the top 15.

I would have thought both of those players should have featured well within the top 50.
If Bontempelli is the only Bulldog player listed I think it's doesn't represent the club adequately.
It could underline the perception that many of our players had a gap year in 2017.

Can't go on just last year looking at some of the names.

I was going to post a thread on this topic this evening. Its perhaps an insight into how poorly other teams rate us.
I think Beveridge has alluded to our lack of 'star power' in our premiership year. I recall him saying something along the lines that in order to win we really need everyone at their very best for the whole game. As well as comments stating we're not the sort of team that blows the opposition away on rhe scoreboard so we need everyone on their game to give ourselves the best chance of a win.
This survey should serve as a sting to our guys that we're not rated, and up to them to prove the other 17 clubs wrong.
Hopefully the lack of respect results in our opposition taking is for granted and we can make them pay in 2018.

I really don't care about surveys like this. All I want is for us to play like a team and win lots of games.

As far as I'm concerned, the less publicity our players get, the better. Just do the job. All hands to the wheel, team first, last and everywhere in between. Egos in the back seat, collective effort front and central.

Normally I'd agree, surveys schmurveys. However I'd imagine there's a difference to being rated or not by outsiders than by your peers.
I hope this stings and further reinforces the need for our guys to recommit to the kind of pack work ethic that saw us win in 2016.

Macrae & Bont should be in the top 15
JJ, Libba & Dahl should be in the top 50 but not based on last year
