WOOF Player Awards RD 15 2019 vs Port Power

Welcome to the WOOF Player Awards for season 2019, Round 15 clash, Western Bulldogs vs Port Power.

There are two awards that you can vote on once the game is completed.

Voting closes each Tuesday at 8.00pm so Shop Early and avoid the rush

The first award is for the Joe Marmo Medal for the best players on the ground.

There are 4 votes allocated and it's a 4 for the best and of course 3, 2 and 1.

The second award is for the Ron James Medal for the best 2 pups on the ground.

2 Votes allocated - 2 being for the best pup and 1 for the runner-up
Remember the cut off age for a pup is 22 as at the 1st of January, 2019.

4. Macrae -4 Qtrs of grunt and class. His goal for mine sealed the top votes. We keep asking him to take the shot, and he did, and boy did we need it.
3. Dunks - 4 Qtrs of coalface grunt.
2. Bont - 1 half of class that was obscene given the conditions.. If that half is not the talk of the media this week, then they as an industry should hang their heads in shame.
1. Crozier. - really pushing himself up in the leaderboard of 'best trades ever' by the club.

Hard to vote when the entire side puts in an effort like that. Schache stiff. KPF with 3 goals in those conditions was brilliant as well as giving English a chop out. Great win... The dark days make these even brighter.

Just changed some of my votes around. A lot of good players tonight. Schache unlucky now to miss in my main votes but gave him 1 in the pups. Put Dunks in at 3 how could I leave him out. Was great.

4. Bontempelli - standout for me. So important to start well interstate - and he was epic, and the destruction he did in his first quarter meant they had to change their game and tag him, which freed up others.
3. Macrae - Crucial goal, and general work horse performance, took some of the clearance load over once Bont got hard tagged.
2. Crozier - We were under siege for periods - and he was grand in defence
1. Johannisen - 21 kicks in his 25 disposal, and got us great territory in a game that was all about that. Defended well.

Apologies Dunks, both Smith's & Schache - all could have been in the votes, and quality in Lipinski's game too.

Do you think that not many watched the game?
I got home after a two hour flight being away for the weekend at 11pm watched all 4 quarters on replay and then got up at 5am for work I didn't want to wait in case I heard the score or someone says to you "Your had a good win". That's why my votes were a tad late. :)
I like to vote while it fresh in my mind.
