Hello Woofers, I am here to pick your brains.

My daughter is doing a school project involving statistics and god bless her, she has decided to do something football related "because I'm not a nerd" (news to me).

Where would be the best place to look for past VFL scores from every round? Also 'a list of Footscray players who got moved up to the Bulldogs properly?'

Google is not really helping much. But I know you guys will know.

Thanks in advance.

AFL Tables is pretty good: https://afltables.com/afl/afl_index.html

Sorry but I'm not sure what 'a list of Footscray players who got moved up to the Bulldogs properly?' means?

Thanks Axe. Yeah, I'm not really sure either, I'll try to get some clarification.

Only thing I can think of is perhaps players we have drafted to the AFL from the Footscray VFL team such as Will Hayes and Billy Gowers?

In terms of player movements WikiPedia's tables for each national and rookie draft are clearer than any other source. There is a 'from' column so if a player is taken from the VFL it should be obvious. Unfortunately she'll have to look at each year individually and collate them manually.

Thanks guys, that should be enough to get her started. Much appreciated!
