mjp,

Do you know anything about the young Swan Craig Bird?

Everyone up here is raving about him and he has already been given the hallowed Swans #14 jumper without playing a senior game.

He was their scholarship player.

Thanks - he must have "studied" well to go straight into the #14 jumper for them.

Not much sorry DR. I dont really watch much Division 2 footy. Sorry.

Thanks. I'm just surprised at the hype about him up here.

Kids an absolute freak. Has been 'All-Australian' 2 years running in the AFL Under-18 championships and won the best division 2 player medal last year. He averaged 32 disposals in the TAC carnival and 28 disposals in the under-18 championships. His effectiveness with those touches were between 75% to 85%. Which is awesome for that level considering how many disposals he got. In both carnivals he averaged between 4-5 tackles a game to prove he's an in and under player. 51% of those touches were contested possessions - which was by far the most by a player.

Looks like a star in the making, only time will tell though.

Wow, thanks.

No wonder they gave him the #14 jumper and everybody is talking about him up here.

What a pity he'll be wearing only red & white without some blue....

I have a question as well. What do you know about Peter Faulks. His dad works with mine at QANTAS

Suffered from O.P last year. Only played 9 games in the reserves up in Canberra. Wasn't named in the best on any occasion. He's over 190cm but only weighs around the 70kg mark. Must be an absolute beanpole.
