Even the ultra secretive Bevo should be able to allow some vision of the non sensitive parts of training and turn the cameras off for the parts he wants to keep away from prying eyes.

The players are back at VU Whitten Oval, check-out photos from the return to training following the COVID-19 enforced season shutdown.

56 days since the 2020 Toyota AFL Premiership Season was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Western Bulldogs' AFL playing group has returned to Victoria University Whitten Oval.

Kicking off a four week training block, the playing group descended on the Club's West Footscray training base to prepare for the recommencement of the season on June 11.

Upon arriving at VU Whitten Oval, all players completed temperature checks and medical screenings in compliance with the league's new COVID-19 protocols.

Players will be allowed to train this week in small groups, in a non-contact format. From May 25, the group will be able to return to full contact training for two sessions per week.

Said they were easily the best surfaces he ever played on. "Like Carpet" was a quote that stuck with me.

I would've been right there with you thinking this, but between there being no seconds footage to go by, Trengove's terrible game against Richmond and Bevo's comments at half time last weekend I'm thinking maybe both Sweet and Trengove are a mile off it right now.

The limited scratch match report was positive about Sweet.

"Another experienced forward, Sam Lloyd, also had an impact – kicking three majors and spending some time through the midfield – as did big man Jordon Sweet with some nice tap work and two majors."

It should have been done against the Crows and we would have a better idea if we dropped Bruce and had Sweet and English swapping between roles.

If you look up close, there is extra padding on the right of the helmet (our left looking at the photo). Obviously won’t protect front on contact but side on it’ll do some work. It wouldn’t be an easy injury to play with so we’ll see how he responds.
