Brisbane Lions coach Chris Fagan has called on the AFL to expand interchange benches to help alleviate the injury risk to players during the compromised 2020 season.Fagan fears injury rates could increase on the back of disjointed and shortened preparations for the June 11 restart, with players only allowed back in full training from May 25.
"Given the short preparation time, I think having six players on your bench would be beneficial," Fagan told reporters on Friday afternoon.

What do Woofers think?

This will be a season like no other. I think an extended bench is a reasonable adjustment to make, given the interrupted preparation.
We're likely to see more soft tissue injuries, and coupled with a lack of a second tier competition, I think, why not extend the bench.

I'd prefer not but without a state league team being played I think Fagan has made the best suggestion

Great idea
There’s going to be injuries due to the lack of load
and prep

I am with GVG. Not ideal but with no state league footy, lack of training loads and possibly having to cram games in if there are further delays, I think it's the best option.

I would also allow unlimited rotations
