Only one I thought about was does Smith go in ahead of Macrae.

It was a tough choice for me between Macrae and Libba to go with English, Smith and Bont. Macrae and Libba both have great hands after getting the first drop of the ball if it’s a contested ground ball. I judged in the favour of Libba for his quicker hands.

English for his *potential* tap work. He’s had a few beautiful reverse taps.

Smith and Bont for their obvious ability to break the lines and send it forward.

We really need to know where the rally has come from.

I think we need whoever has been performing in the ruck contest to be in.

This means it could be English, Bruce or Dunkley taking the ruck contest. The other 3 are selected from there, but Libba and Bont are essential.

Although, i can also see an argument that Bont is outside the square to come through for the first handball and drive the ball to our forward option.

Yep. These 3 have never had a dominant stoppage ruckman their entire career so I would trust them to ensure the opposition do not get a clean clearance under such a scenario.
